Otis Bradley is a custom home builder. For over 30 years, Otis has built everything from shacks to mega mansions. Originally from New England, Otis moved to southern California in 1990, where he continues building today.

Otis Bradley Company, Inc. builds custom homes for clients and their architects. Additionally the company does "design/build" - a unique blend of both the architectural design and construction. Otis studied architectural design in high school and worked through the University of California’s Architecture and Interior Design programs as well. An avid building buff, Otis regularly visits architectural monuments around the globe.

In 2008, Otis and his family moved into their new home, "Casa Verde," a state of the art Green Home designed and built by Otis.

Otis currently owns and operates Otis Bradley Company, Inc., http://otisbradley.com, a California Custom Home building business. After spending many years getting his hands dirty pouring concrete, framing walls and installing finish carpentry, Otis now spends most of his time working with his supervisors, client’s designers and subcontractors overseeing every detail of every project. The company has built everything from mega mansions to 800 square foot homes in styles ranging from actual 300 year old colonial homes to cutting edge modern styles and everything in between.

Custom home building is both art and science and an extremely personal journey for new home owners. I believe in being completely involved in all aspects of the home building project while remaining flexible and understanding enough to be able to achieve the (sometimes changing) hopes and dreams of the new home owners.

Building a home continues to become more and more complex with the larger numbers of specialty sub contractors, complicated mechanical systems and challenging permitting processes. Custom homes are by definition unique. They are built once and therefore require experience, foresight, attention and problem solving abilities.

A good builder needs to be able to accomplish all of the above while being an astute business preson and able communicator. Let's get together and see if we are a match.

Otis Bradley Company, Inc. is proud to be a member of the "Pacesetters," a Builder 20 group.

In 1994, the NAHB began offering participation in The Builder 20 Clubs to selected builders across the country. The clubs, with membership grouped according to business similarities, offer a powerful networking and educational opportunity in a collaborative format. Members gather at locations around the country twice a year to share their experiences and knowledge, helping each other improve client services and business operations.

The Pacesetters have met in the following cities: Washington, Austin, Denver, Memphis, Philadelphia, San Antonio, Phoenix, Omaha, Cleveland, San Francisco, Hartford, Irvine, Raleigh, and Seattle.

The National Association of Homebuilders is is a federation of more than 800 state and local associations. As modestly stated on their website: "NAHB, is a trade association that helps promote the policies that make housing a national priority. Since 1942, NAHB has been serving its members, the housing industry, and the public at large."

The Builder 20 Groups are an exclusive, focused, think tank, investment group, and research organization for select groups of builders . NAHB has a membership of over 175,000 from the nations largest builders to "boutique" builders. Only 50 Builder 20 groups exist. Since the membership consists of builders from throughout the country - members do not compete with each other. We collaborate ! Meeting several times each year - Builder 20 groups consist of builders committed to improving their home building experience on all levels for their customers.
