Design SpecificationsCustom home building plans come in a variety of levels of detail. One of the greatest challenges for anyone building a custom home is to translate what they want and picture in their mind so that it actually comes to fruition in the house! As they say "God is in the details" Every little thing from the detail of the shape, size and material used for the door hinges to the shape of the countertop edge to how the patterns of the tile work in the shower can be done in a thousand different ways. Anything not specified on the plans has to be determined by someone ... the owner... the interior designer ... the builder ? The more you can specify these little particular items - the more you will get what you want.
